PPE, Uniform & Workwear, Footwear, Healthcare Garments, Procedure Packs and Associated Services Framework

Dukefield Procurement are pleased to announce the launch of the National Health Sector Framework for the provision of PPE, Uniform & Workwear, Footwear, Healthcare Garments, Procedure Packs and Associated Services. The framework is hosted by Barking, Havering and Redbridge University NHS Hospitals Trust and Dukefield Procurement are the framework contract managers. This framework has been developed for the health sector, it is available for use by any public sector organisation with a requirement for these products and services.

The framework provides a compliant route to market across 6 Lots:

• Lot 1 – Disposable and Reusable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

This lot includes Sterilised Gowns, Isolation Gowns, Coveralls, Theatre Hats - Embroidered and Reusable, Type II and IIR Masks, Drapes, Non-Sterile Disposable Scrubs, Disposable Overshoes amongst many other products. This Lot also provides access to a range of additional supplies and services of an upholstering and manufacturing services nature such as Cutting Services, Embroidery Services and Reupholstering Services.

• Lot 2 – Uniform and Workwear

This lot provides access to a wide range of uniform and workwear and associated garments, including Scrub Tops, Trousers - Fitted & Unfitted, Dresses, Jackets, Body Warmers, Hi Vis Vests and Safety Helmets to name a few. Similarly to Lot 1 you can also access to a range of additional supplies and services of an upholstering and manufacturing services.

• Lot 3 – Footwear

This comprises Healthcare and Food Footwear, Safety Footwear and General Uniform and Workwear Footwear.

• Lot 4 – Products for use within Healthcare Settings

This lot includes but is not limited to Curtains, Pillows, Towels, Blankets, Bed Sheets, Patient Gowns, Pyjamas and Grip Socks. As with Lots 1 and 2, it also provides access to a range of additional supplies and services of an upholstering and manufacturing services nature such as Cutting Services, Embroidery Services and Reupholstering Services.

• Lot 5 – Procedure Packs

Procedure Packs are used throughout the NHS in both clinical and non-clinical environments for any procedure carried out within a Trust. This lot provides access to all types of Procedure Pack including bespoke packs, stock packs and national specification packs.

The core product areas include Cardiology (interventional radiology), Community, Instrument, Line insertion, Regional anaesthesia, Theatre, Ward based, Ophthalmic, Canula, Wound Care, Cannulation and Catheterisation but the Lot is also designed to accommodate each and every framework user’s bespoke requirements for Procedure Packs

• Lot 6 – Warehousing Stock and Materials Management Services

This covers a suite of warehousing, stock and materials management services.

Across the 6 framework lots there are a broad range of suppliers – 26 in total. The framework has been developed to be straightforward to use and comes with supporting documentation such as a comprehensive User Guide and a dedicated Help Desk for framework users to access free of charge.
